Happy Hoops is a great way to get your preschool child started with the game of basketball. Success comes easy, thanks to 6 foot baskets, smaller balls and structured practices. We offer two sessions of this popular activity.
Division: Preschool age 4 & 5, Boys & Girls (separate divisions if participation allows)
Session I: Saturdays Nov. 6 - Dec. 18, 2010 (No games Nov. 27 - Thanksgiving)

SPIRIT BASKETBALL

Spirit league is the next step in our progressive basketball program. At this level, 6 foot hoops are used for Kindergarten and 8 foot baskets for 1st grade. Emphasis is placed on learning the skills to play at a beginning level.
Division: Kindergarten & 1st Grades, Boys & Girls separate divisions
Registration: Sep. 1 - NOV 1, 2010 DEADLINE
Program Dates: Dec. 4, 11, 18 Jan. 8, 15, 22, 29 Feb. 5, (No games Dec. 25 and Jan. 1)
Fees:
YMCA Family Member: $25 ($40 w/jersey)
Program Member: $50 ($65 w/jersey)

YMCA Youth Sports Jersey are mandatory to play in the league. The cost is $15 in addition to league fees. The jerseys must be picked up at the Norm Waitt Sr. YMCA Member Services Desk by the participant and/or their parent. No jewelry can be worn during practices and games.

Youth league is our top developmental program for basketball. Participants practice 1-2 times per week and games will be played on Saturdays. Character Development is a building block for all Sports programs at the Y.

13th Annual Youth Basketball Tournament: FEBRUARY 12, 2011 - open to all Norm Waitt Sr. YMCA youth basketball league teams grade 2-6.

| Enrollment is on a first come, first serve basis. |
| Fees and schedules are subject to change.

| The Y reserves the right to cancel any activity based on low enrollment. The activity fee will be refunded or credited in full for this reason. |
| All scheduled activity times, fees, staff may be changed or cancelled at the discretion of the Norm Waitt Sr. YMCA staff. |
| A $10 service charge will be charged to individuals dropping from an activity after enrollment. |
| No refunds will be given after the coaches meeting is held. |
